Let this cut loose any assumed constraints
and serve primary purposeto
reinforce my mere adoration for you Miss
Just in case I leave this Earth
too soon.
I'd give you my last bite of food
and my last sip too.
Flew from my ocean to yours
Now,
what makes you think
I wouldn't go to the moon?
This is merely a fragmented statment
from my heart.
Just promise that the love will hold things together
If the "I" and "you" ever seem to want to
fall a part.

Where Hearbeats Become Faint
Uprooting shall begin
shortly
in hopes of detaching
what has grown artificially
within something
that never existed.
Perplexed as to why there are no regrets;
Current phrase stuck on repeat:
"Ain't and this shit about a bitch?"

Untitled XXI
I worship the ground you walk on
so much
I'd pick up your footsteps
and hand them back to you
just because they're too
deep for this
Earth
so much
I'd pick up your footsteps
and hand them back to you
just because they're too
deep for this

The Cutoff: Recant
There is no sound
louder than the silence
of the void
when you want to hear
"I love you"
This is still delicate
all of its entanglements
still very much so intricate
this is "different"
Infinitely definite
The termination fee for a contract you cut short
louder than the silence
of the void
when you want to hear
"I love you"
This is still delicate
all of its entanglements
still very much so intricate
this is "different"
Infinitely definite
The termination fee for a contract you cut short
PST:EST Daydream
We played
house
and doctor
and
cops and robbers.
I held the club stick.
You wore the handcuffs.
Arrested hearts in
bicoastal waters.
Float on that shit for a bit.

cops and robbers.
I held the club stick.
You wore the handcuffs.
Arrested hearts in
bicoastal waters.
Float on that shit for a bit.

The Violation
Her tears fade
the ash
On my skin
As my knuckles
Grazed her cheek,
lips,
jaw.
flashbacks
to memories
never intended
to exist.
Flashback to a clock
On the dresser
In a room---
Sighted from the ground up:
IS
HE
IS
SHE
DONE
YET?
My tears
Dilute
The scent
left by lotion
painted on the back of her hand.
she believes
I shed tears
over the intrusion
I became victim of----
memories stowed in my chest.
Reality knows
I shed tears
In remembrance of hers,
although
I know
I was never there.
Was not aware.
But now
I am
And we cry,
r e m e m b e r i n g.
